Your doctors, radiographers and nurses can give you information about your radiotherapy treatment. They will talk with you, answer your questions and give you written information to take away and read at home.

Cancerbackup booklet. You can view this on-line, or contact Cancerbackup for a printed copy (free to patients).

CancerHelp (Cancer Research UK) website
This site's cancer treatments section has detailed information about radiotherapy – what it is, how it is given, possible side effects, your feelings etc.

Video

Chemotherapy and radiotherapy – a video film by patients for patients.
This 20-minute video (produced by Health Education Publications Ltd) shows patients being treated and talking about their experiences. It also describes common side effects and how to cope. This video is available in Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi and Urdu
