Bladder cancers are most usually linked to smoking, so you can cut your risk by not starting to smoke, or by giving up now. Even if you are quite old and have smoked for a long time, it is still worth stopping.
If you’d like to give up, ask your GP or health centre for advice - or contact the UK charity QUIT. Our help and support section also has details of local smoking cessation services.
