Radiotherapy to the bladder may make you feel sick, although this is not very common.

If you do have this problem, these tips may help…

  • Eat little and often.

  • Stick to dry foods such as toast, crackers, crisps and biscuits.

  • Drink plenty of fluids. Try a fizzy drink - tonic water is good.

If you don't start to feel better, please tell us. We can give you more tips on eating and drinking. We can also ask a dietician to give you advice. Your hospital doctor may be able to give you a medicine to help.
