You will gradually start to feel better during the weeks after your treatment. Continue to take care of yourself and eat well.

Your consultant will see you within 3 months, to check how you are getting on. In the meantime, if you have any concerns, please contact the Breast Care Nurse Specialist on 01624 650194.

Within three weeks of your final treatment, you should get a letter giving you a date and time for your appointment. If you don't get a letter within three weeks, please phone your Doctor or Breast Care Nurse Specialist.

Often when treatment is finished, you may expect to feel better immediately. This does not always happen. For more information on adjusting to life after cancer treatment, click here.
