You will gradually start to feel better during the weeks after your treatment. Continue to take care of yourself, eat well and tell your doctor if you have any problems.

Your nurse will contact you about two weeks after your treatment has finished. If you're worried in the meantime, please feel free to get in touch.

Your hospital doctor will see you after a few weeks, to check how you are getting on.

If you don't get an appointment date for this, please phone your doctor.

It is possible that you may need to have another dose of radiotherapy to a smaller area of your pelvis. This treatment is called a boost. Your doctor will tell you more about it.
