Some cancer services are delivered on-island at Noble's Hospital, however the Isle of Man links into the services at Merseyside & Cheshire Cancer Network for some treatment options.
Treatment for leukaemia may be given in the following places:
Chemotherapy
Generally this is given in the Royal Liverpool University Hospital. For chronic myeloid leukaemia and chronic lymphocytic leukaemia, some treatments are available through Noble's Hospital.
Supportive / maintenance therapies
After chemotherapy treatment, some patients may require supportive maintenance therapies to keep them in good health. These can usually be carried out through Noble’s Hospital.
Peripheral blood stem cell harvesting and rescue
Generally, through the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.
Bone marrow harvesting and rescue
Generally, through the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.
Allogenic (donor) bone marrow transplant
Generally, through the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.
Radiotherapy
This is provided through Clatterbridge Centre for Oncology, on the Wirral.

Palliative care
If cancer can't be cured, medical, nursing and emotional support can be offered at home, in hospital or in Hospice.
