The most common symptoms are:
- Pain in the chest, lower back or abdomen
- Breathlessness
- Peritoneal mesothelioma may cause swelling of the abdomen
Sometimes:
- A dry, persistent cough.
In some cases there may be no symptoms, or they may appear very gradually.
Other symptoms include
- loss of appetite
- weakness
- loss of weight
All these symptoms can be caused by other conditions, but if you are concerned, see your GP.
