Your GP, hospital doctors and other health professionals are there to support you, and to give you information. They are the only people who can tell you more about your particular cancer and its treatment. It is part of their job to talk to you, so feel free to ask them questions.

British Dental Health Foundation - Mouth Cancer Awareness Week
The British Dental Health Foundation website has a range of information about mouth cancers; including information on diagnosing, treating and living with mouth cancer.

Mouth Cancer Foundation
This UK charity has links to information about mouth, throat, thyroid cancers and other organisations that may be of support.

Macmillan Cancer Support - cancers of the head & neck 
The Cancerbackup website covers general information on cancers of the head & neck (including specific information on mouth cancer), causes and diagnosis, treatment, clinical trials, resources and support. This information is also available in a booklet (free to patients) direct from Macmillan Cancer Support or from the Macmillan Cancer Information Centre

CancerHelp - mouth cancer
Cancer Research UK has a patient information website called CancerHelp, which has information on cancer of the mouth and throat.

World Cancer Research Fund
This UK charity has a specific leaflet about reducing your risk of developing mouth cancer, which has been written in conjunction with the Mouth Cancer Foundation.

The Oral Cancer Foundation
An extensive site from the USA about oral cancers. It also has information on coping with the emotional aspects of living with oral cancer.
