It depends what treatment you have.

If you have laser treatment because your cancer is very small and quite easy to remove, you may well not have any problems in the longer term.

If you have surgery your sex life may be affected – although some men who have just part of the penis removed are still able to have quite a reasonable sex life.

Radiotherapy is less likely to cause difficulties with sex.

Your doctor will talk with you about what may happen in your case. If you have any questions or worries, please don’t be afraid to ask.
