You will gradually start to feel better during the weeks after your treatment. Continue to take care of yourself, eat well and tell your doctor if you have any problems.

Your hospital doctor or clinical nurse specialist will see you after a few weeks, in the outpatients clinic.

At your appointments you may have a PSA blood test to see how well you have responded to treatment. Your prostate may also be examined, but not at every visit.

At the clinic you will be able to discuss your disease and treatment, and any worries or concerns you may have, in a relaxed and informal environment.

After your first appointment you will have further checks approximately every 3-6 months.
