If it is not treated, this cancer tends to spread to the lymph nodes in the abdomen, but it can also spread through the bloodstream.
Once the cancer cells get into the lymphatic system or bloodstream they may travel to other areas of the body and start growing there. These cancers are called secondary cancers or metastases.
Testicular cancer may spread to the lungs or, less often, to the brain or liver.
