After treatment you should be able to carry on with your normal sex life. During treatment you may not feel like having sex so much – you may feel tired, for instance. Don’t worry, this will pass.
Chemotherapy can affect your fertility. This may be just for a while (usually less than two years) – but in some patients it will be permanent.
We can’t tell in advance whether this will happen to you… so if there is any chance you might like to start a family in the future, we can arrange to freeze and store some of your sperm before treatment starts. This is called sperm banking.
