If you have surgery or radiotherapy you will probably get back to normal within a few weeks.

If you have chemotherapy it will take longer for you to feel better. You may need to go for quite a lot of treatment sessions over several months. It may take up to a year before you feel your usual self again.

After your treatment has finished you will need to have regular follow up checks (blood tests and CT scans) for up to 10 years. It is also a good idea to check your remaining testicle regularly, as there is a small chance you might get cancer there, too.
