What is the Cancer Diary Pack?
The Cancer Diary pack is a blue plastic wallet containing two main booklets:
- Your Treatment Diary - this is a booklet where you and your health professionals can record down the key information and contact details that you need to know about whilst you are going through treatment. It also has a place where you can write your own notes or questions.
- A Practical Guide to Cancer Services on the Isle of Man - this booklet is a useful reference to services on the Isle of Man. It has been produced by the Isle of Man Cancer Services User Forum, which is made up of people who have personal experience of cancer themselves.
The pack can also be used to keep any additional information that you have been given together in a safe place.
Where do I get a Cancer Diary Pack from?
You should be offered a copy of the cancer diary pack when you receive your diagnosis (at Noble's Hospital).
If you have not received a diary pack, please contact your Clinical Nurse Specialist or the Macmillan Cancer Information Centre.
Thank you to Isle of Man Anti-Cancer Association for sponsoring the blue plastic wallets for the cancer diary packs.
