Supporting people with hair loss due to chemotherapy
LookAhead is designed to support people affected by hair loss due to chemotherapy, by offering personal and practical support on how to use headscarves, hairpieces and hats.
Trained volunteers and staff will be available to provide practical suggestions and support.
You will have the opportunity to learn different ways to tie a headscarf.
You can try different types of hats and some hairpieces, to see what style suits you.
LookAhead consultations will be on a one-to-one basis in a private environment.
LookAhead is usually held on a Monday evening from 4pm - 8pm, once a fortnight.
For more information or to book a LookAhead appointment, please contact the Macmillan Cancer Information Centre on 01624 650735.
