Feeling breathless can make it an effort to eat… or you may just not feel hungry. Try your best to eat well. These tips may help...

  • Eat little and often. Several small meals and snacks may be easier for you to manage than two or three large meals.

  • Choose foods you especially enjoy.

  • Ask a relative or friend to help you prepare your food. You won’t feel so tired when it is time to eat.

  • Your doctor or nurse can ask a dietician to talk with you. You may get extra help and advice to make eating easier.
